INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY FOR AEROMEDICAL RESEARCH AND UNIVERSAL STANDARDS

Welcome to ICARUS e.V.

The International Community for Aeromedical Research and Universal Standards (ICARUS e.V) is an international aeromedical professional association committed to patient-focused, high-quality critical care transport and retrieval medicine by promoting excellence in medical direction, research, education and training.

We are affiliated with international organisations, working in collaboration with leading academic institutions and accreditation organizations in order to apply evidence-based research to validate existing standards and quality markers applicable to aeromedical transport.

Our key objective is to drive an absolute commitment to patient safety through the practice of evidence-based medicine during patient transport.

ICARUS e.V also embraces a common goal to support and empower our professional colleagues through building a global community committed to a shared vision to validate aeromedical quality by research, audit and education.
